Adi.k, der Kinoclub der adi, geht in eine neue Runde. Am Montag, 26. Juni zeigen wir den Film „Courier“. Den inhaltlichen Rahmen der Filme werden Inputvorträge und Diskussionen liefern. Wir freuen uns auf alle Cineast*innen unter euch!
Zum Film:
Bei adi.k wollen wir besonderen Fokus auf Filme aus der Zeit der späten Sowjetunion (Perestroika) und aktuelle Filme aus Zentral- und Osteuropa legen. Wir möchten Filme zeigen, die ihr sonst selten zu sehen bekommt und die Themen aufgreifen, die selten besprochen werden.
Courier (1986) ist ein sowjetisches Komödien-Drama von Karen Shakhnazarov. Im Mittelpunkt der Erzählung steht die Beziehung zweier junger Menschen aus dem ganz unterschiedlichen sozialen Schichten – Iwan und Katja. Beide stellen die Frage nach den Grenzen der Normalität in der späten Sowjet-Gesellschaft, in der sie leben. Die Frage, die wir mehrmals im Film hören, ist: «Was wollt ihr?» – das wollen die Eltern der jungen Menschen wissen.
Im Film findet man auch einige interessante Beispiele des sowjetischen Kulturlebens in den 80er Jahren, wie zum Beispiel, dieses sowjetisches „Breakdance“: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIoEyXxDci8.

Adi.k, the Сinemaclub of the adi, continues its work. On Monday, 26 June, we will watch the film „Сourier“. Besides the screening, there will be also some input about the film as well as an open discussion afterwards. We are looking forward to all fans of cinema!
Courier (1987) is a Soviet comedy-drama film directed by Karen Shakhnazarov. In the center of its story are the relationships between two young people Ivan and Katia, with quite different social background. Both of them put into question the borders of the normality in the Late Soviet society, in which they live. The core question of the Film, is, however defined by the parents of the young people: “What do you really want?”, – ask they many times.
